Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
These terms apply to prescriptions dispensed by Medway Pharmacy, operated by Medway Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16575671). Our registered office is Richmond House, 50 Tontine Street, Ground Floor, Blackburn BB1 7ED. Our pharmacy is at Railway View Works, Wood Street, Dukinfield SK16 4UT, and is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) under number 9013205.
Please read these terms before paying for your medication. By paying, you agree to them.
2. Our service
We dispense private prescriptions for cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBPMs) and deliver them to addresses in the UK. We do not offer collection.
Our service is for adults aged 18 and over only.
Medway Pharmacy and WellCann Clinic are part of the same group of companies. You are free to have your prescription dispensed by any pharmacy of your choice.
3. Prescriptions
We can only dispense against a valid original prescription that meets legal requirements. Prescriptions for controlled drugs are valid for 28 days from the date on the prescription.
Our pharmacist may contact you or your prescriber before dispensing, and may decline to dispense where, in their professional judgement, it would not be safe or lawful to do so. Your medication must be used only by you, as directed by your prescriber.
4. Prices and payment
You will receive a payment link showing the full cost before anything is ordered. Payment is due in full before we order and dispense your medication.
Each order includes a delivery charge of £4.99 (Royal Mail Tracked 24). If you ask us to send your prescription in more than one parcel, each additional delivery is £4.99.
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price shown in your payment link.
5. Ordering your medication
If your medication is not in stock, we order it for you after payment. If we cannot obtain it, we will contact you and refund you in full for anything we cannot supply.
6. Delivery
Orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 and need a signature on delivery. Parcels are not left in a safe place, with a neighbour or through the letterbox.
If your medication is in stock and you pay before 1pm on a working day, we aim to dispatch it the same day. Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver the next working day, but delivery times are not guaranteed. If your medication needs to be ordered in, we dispatch it as soon as it arrives from our supplier, typically 2 to 3 working days after payment, and will let you know if it is likely to take longer.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct. We are not responsible for parcels sent to an address you gave us in error, or for delays caused by Royal Mail or other events outside our control.
If your parcel does not arrive, please tell us as soon as possible. We will investigate with Royal Mail and, once the parcel is confirmed lost, refund you in line with your legal rights. Because your medication is a controlled drug, a replacement needs a new prescription from your prescriber.
7. Returns and refunds
CBPMs are controlled drugs. Please do not return medication unless our pharmacy asks you to. Once a CBPM has left the pharmacy it cannot be dispensed again, so any returned medication will be destroyed and cannot be sent back to you.
Refunds are given only where the medication is faulty or we have made an error. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the problem.
Because your medication is dispensed against your own prescription, the 14-day cancellation period for online purchases does not apply once it has been dispensed.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please see our Complaints & feedback page or contact us using the details below.
9. Your information
Please see our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from information you give us that is inaccurate or incomplete. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to your order.
